BLOOD  STREAMS  DEFECTS

The first rapid test  for D-DIMER

It is a useful test having a negative predictive value.

Its use helps to exclude thrombotic (blood clot producing) diseases and conditions and is suggested in case of symptoms of a disease or condition that causes acute and/or chronic inappropriate blood clot formation such as: DVT (Deep Vein Thrombosis), PE (Pulmonary Embolism), or DIC (Disseminated Intravascular Coagulation), and to monitor the progress and treatment of DIC and other thrombotic conditions.

This analysis is well known but usually performed with laboratory reagents.

We offer an easy to use immunochromatographic cassette which allows on site test  and results in just 8 to 10 minutes.

Relative sensitivity is 97% and specificity 92% when compared to DADE Behring  Stratus CS – DDMR Immuno Assay System.
