MULTI DIP  7  DEVICE   (COC 300), (AMP 500), (MET 500), (THC 50), (OPI 300), (MDMA 500), (MTD 300).   The test system consists on 7 strips for  above drugs which are mounted in a plastics holder.   These test cassettes are available with three up to twelve strips.   Every side of the device can locate up to 6 strips so the 7 strips device has 6 tests at one side and one on the back side.   To perform the test, the strip  free endings are  immerged into the urine sample for at least 10 seconds.   The test strips are removed out of the urine sample when  a control line at every single parameter is visible on the strips.   Protection cup is then placed again to cover strips endings and the device is left on a flat surface.   Results are read after min 5 and max 15 minutes.   Accuracy, sensitivity and specificity of these tests are proven by available technical sheets to be almost 100%.   The advantage of the multi dip tests is the maximum flexibility as being strips independent each other the device can be assembled with desired tests combination.

MULTI DIP 8 + 2 ADULTERATION TESTS DEVICE (BUP 10 ), (COC 300), (AMP 500), (MET 500), (THC 50), (OPI 300), (MDMA 500), (MTD 300) +  pH + Creatinine (BUP 10 ), (COC 300), (AMP 500), (MET 500), (THC 50), (OPI 300), (MDMA 500), (MTD 300) +  pH + Creatinine The test system consists on 8 strips for above drugs which are mounted in a plastics holder + one strip with pH and Creatinine color pads.    To perform the test, the strips free endings of the device are immerged into the urine sample for at least 10 seconds.

The test strips are removed out of the urine sample when  a control line at every single parameter is visible on the strips.

After 1-2 minutes the color changing of pH and Creatinine are compared with the color chart provided with the test.

Normal pH-values in urine vary from pH 4.0 to pH 9.0. Lower or higher pH-values show an adulteration of the urine sample.

The DOT guideline states that urine specimens with Creatinine levels of less than 20mg/dl ( 50 ng/dl in Italy ) are indicative of adulteration.

Drug of Abuse test result is read after 5 to 15 minutes from starting time.

To perform the test, the strips free endings of the device are immerged into the urine sample for at least 10 seconds.

The test strips are removed out of the urine sample when  a control line at every single parameter is visible on the strips.

After 1-2 minutes  the ADU tests colors are compared with the color chart provided with the test.

Drug of Abuse test result is read after 5 to 15 minutes from starting time.

Urine is dropped by the operator into each sample well by using a plastic disposable pipette, included in the test pouch.

The procedure of the test is then same as for the multi – dip devices.

The urine will migrate along the strips and will generate 2 bands C: control and T: test. If one band of the T zones will not appear, the test is positive for the DOA correspondent to that band.

The advantage of the multiline tests is that all test is run at a side of the device so, upon termination, the result can be photographed or copied more easily than a double sides multi-dip.

Due the fact that in the multiline tests each strip can detect more than one Drug of abuse + control, the combination in a strip is not flexible as only DOA which do not interfere each other can stay on same test strip.

In case of Adulteration tests are needed, the same are supplied as side strips in tube.

The test system consists on a plastic holder with several DOA strips + one strip with pH and creatinine color pads.

The strips are all located in  the  FRONT SIDE of the device, so to facilitate the reading and the photocopy of the test result.

To allow this, some of  the strips are multiline strips; it means they detect more than one DOA contemporarily, so 5 strips can read up to 8 DOA.

The test strips are removed out of the urine sample when  a control line at every single parameter is visible on the strips.

How does it work? It is a very powerful software platform that can be used to analyse images. The software has a set of common and complex algorithms which recognise images, and perform calculations. The lateral Flow Reader can read cassettes with theoretically any number of strips mounted. Also there is no theoretical limitation of the number of analytes on a single strip / membrane. The Lateral Flow Reader will adapt to any practical number. One scanner can house many different cassettes or 3 multi line tests. The application will read them all in one single scan!
