GENERAL MEDICINE (POC)

FLU A / B test

To screen and differentiate between A and B flu in N/F sample

The test, CE certified for professional use, is an easy useful tool for the family doctor or any POC to detect patients with flu A viruses in 10 minutes.

The test has a very good correlation with both culture method and RT-PCR.

When patients with clear symptoms, so in the acute phase of the flu, were tested the RT-PCR relative Sensitivity/Specificity of Influenza A/B panel test  was found to be 84.4%/ 94.7% for  A strains and 84.3%/ 95.5% for B strains.

FLU A H1N1 specific test

To screen and identify the patients with A H1N1 virus

The first immunochromatographic test highly specific for A H1N1 type virus.

Its highly purified antibodies allow the detection of all actually known subtypes of this virus without interferences by H3N2 or other strains.

Clinical studies are always taking place with this new test so performance data will be updated accordingly.

Till now a sensitivity of up to  94% and a specificity of over 90% have been found but with new test version, having no interferences, the specificity further raised.

The test is CE certified for professional use and available in a “all for one test”, with ready to use buffer vials or in lab form with empty vials and buffer dropper bottle.

METABOLISM  CHECK- UP

10 Parameters screening test in urines

A new kit size for this well known test for a comprehensive urine check up.

One pouch with 3 strips is suitable for small routines and as the test is CE certified for both professional and home use, the Doctor can also give it to the patient to test at home.

The test takes 2 minutes to be done and the results are read by simply comparing the colors of the strip with a color chart.

Each parameter has its own meaning and represents a function of a human organ as it is explained on the instruction for use.

WELLNESS CHECK - UP

6 main parameters screening test in urines

A 6 pads strip  to screen the main health parameters in urines in just 2 minutes.

2 combinations are available:

  • blood, leukocytes, proteins, nitrites, glucose and ketone: this composition is widely used as it detects both urinary tract  infections and metabolic stress: diet, sport excess, diabetes, fasting.

  • PH, glucose, proteins, blood, leukocytes, nitrites: this composition has pH instead of ketone, so it is used to see if there is any metabolism, kidney or infection problem.

The test is simply performed by immerging shortly the strip into urines and then after 2 minutes waiting, comparing the colors of the pads  with those of a color chart.

One pouch contains 3 strips and the color chart.

The test is CE certified for both professional and home use.

GLUCOSE METABOLISM and DIET CHECK-UP

Glucose/ Ketone screening test in urines

A 2 pads strip to detect diabetes, specially first time if some has symptoms of frequency urination.

The glucose/ ketone composition is used for testing the sugar / carbohydrate metabolism so it is the mostly used in monitoring the effectiveness of very low carbohydrate diets as well as in case of gestational diabetes.

It is useful  to identify ketonuria in non-compensated diabetic patients in case of symptoms like abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting.

A color, visual test  gives results in one minute to be compared to a color chart.

One pouch contains 3 strips and the color chart.

The test is CE certified for both professional and home use.

TOTAL  CHOLESTEROL  COLOR TEST

A simple, visual color test In fingertip blood sample, allowing a semi-quantitative quick detection of cholesterol on site in minutes, without any instrument. An automated lancet allows an almost painful sampling.

The test is CE certified for professional and self use.

HDL cholesterol test is also available.

Diabetic Neuropathy Tester

For early detection of Peripheral Diabetic Neuropathy

The Diabetic neuropathy tester is an easy to use rapid color test to determine the ability of the skin to “breathe” normally.

The loss of micro-capillary circulation associated with Diabetic Neuropathy may cause the upper level of the skin to thicken and become impermeable, preventing normal transmission of moisture through the stratum corneum.

The tester is an accurate and sensitive moisture detector providing early sign of developing neuropathy.
