TESTS FOR IDENTIFYING ALLERGIES

·        We offer tests for 2 different kinds of allergy:

1) FOOD allergy tests: GLUTEN ALLERGY

Celiac disease is a serious, lifelong, gastrointestinal disorder due to permanent intolerance to gluten (a complex mixture of storage proteins found in wheat, barley and rye) causing a list of clinical symptoms which can be avoided by only a gluten free diet. Vaccines are under evaluation to reduce the intolerance effects.

CELIAC  RAPID TEST

Certificates: CE self test certificate  issued by Notify Body, CE conformity certificate for professional use, Canada Health approval, FDA professional registration in process

A simple rapid test for the detection of  diseases associated IgA autoantibodies from  fingertip blood.

Celiac test is good tool for monitoring the effect of gluten free diet.

Gluten free diet should be started only according to the instructions of a medical doctor.

The test requires only 1 drop (10 μl) of blood from the fingertip, and it can be carried out and evaluated in about 5 minutes.

The sampling is practically painless.

The test is available either as strip or as plastic cassette.

2) DOMESTIC, RESPIRATORY allergy tests: ALLERGY TESTS TO CAT AND TO DOG

These tests are very useful in case of allergy symptoms, to check at home or at the pharmacy  if the person, adult or child, is allergic to domestic animals, mite or mildew.

The first 2 tests already available are Allergy tests to CAT and to Dog, particularly useful for screening children even before purchasing a pet.

As allergy to animals happens also without any direct contact with them, this test is particularly useful to avoid any risk and, in case of symptoms, allows a quick check.

CAT  ALLERGY  TEST

Certificates: CE self test certificate  issued by Notify Body, CE conformity certificate for professional use

Cat allergy is by far the commonest allergy to pet animals and up to 40% of asthmatics are sensitive to cats.

The cat allergen is much more likely to cause sensitisation than that of the dog.

This specific, easy to use, immuno-chromatographic test detects high levels of IgE specific Ab to cat dander and skin cells in fingertip sample blood, at home, in just 15 minutes.

A special lancet makes the sampling practically painless.

DOG  ALLERGY  TEST

Certificates: CE self test certificate  issued by Notify Body, CE conformity certificate for professional use

Dog allergy is the second commonest allergy to pet animals.

Unlike cat allergen, which is found in the dander from sebaceous glands in the skin, the skin of dogs does not appear to be a major source of Can f 1.

The major dog allergen is primarily found in dog saliva.

This specific, easy to use, immuno chromatographic test detects high levels of IgE specific Ab to Can f 1 in finger tip blood sample, at home, in just 15 minutes.

A special lancet makes the sampling practically painless.
