BREATH ALCOHOL DETECTOR   Certificates: it does not need CE self test certificate as by IVDD directive 98/78/EC being listed as forensic test The Breath Alcohol Detector is a disposable breath alcohol indicator designed for one-time use. It contains indicator chemistry that will undergo a color change in the presence of alcohol contained in the breath of the subject. This product provides a reliable indication of alcohol present in the blood, based on the exhaled breath of the test subject when the instruction for use are carefully followed.

The test is done by squeezing middle of the outer plastic tube between thumb and forefinger to break the inner glass ampoule containing yellow crystals.

 Then blowing very hardly for 12 seconds inside the tube, shaking the tester to distribute crystals and reading color after 2 min. 

Color is compared with a color chart having 3 main colors:

Strong yellow : 0%

Light yellow: 0.04% : caution, borderline value

Light green; 0.08% : high alcohol level,  do not drive

 

DUAL DISPLAY ALCOHOL BREATH TESTER   Certificates: the tester is not a medical device so it does not need any specific CE certification for this purpose.  It is available the declaration of conformity that the instrument complies with requirements related to electromagnetic compatibility based on EN 55022:1998, EN55024:1998 New, extremely convenient, elegant, compact, this digital alcohol tester is one of most appealing instruments now available for sales to both professionals and privates. The instrument uses an advanced semiconductor oxide alcohol sensor measuring alcohol in a range from 0 to 0.95 mg/L  BRAC with  an accuracy of 0.05mg / L BRAC The use of the tester is very simple and the operator is guided by the instrument itself in the procedure.

When pushing start button the sensor cleans and  warms up for approx 10 seconds. Then “BLOW” symbol is displayed and tester beeps to indicate to be ready and a count-down from 9 to 0 starts. During the count-down  the operator has to blow into the breath inhaler for 3-5 seconds and then reading displayed result. The “CAUTION” symbol appears if alcohol concentration is between 0.1 and 0.25 mg/L BRAC ( 0.2 – 0.5 g/L) The “DANGER” symbol appears and instrument beeps an alert if alcohol concentration is over or equal to 0.25 mg/L BRAC ( 0.5 g/L)

The tester self switches-off if not used or read and in order to reset it cannot be reused before 3 minutes to grant reliable results.

A clock with LCD display is incorporated into the tester with alarm and temperature indicator.

FAST, SAFE, EASY it detects DOA in powders, on surfaces such as hands or worktops, and in liquids.

The test is composed by the carton test , a cotton swab and a wipe.

User has just to wet the swab with the wipe or with water, to pass it on the surface ( the interior of a bag, inside a tray, in a car or camion, on the face or hands etc ) and to press on the patch.

If the test pad turns a vivid orange color, then drugs are detected.

The test detects immediately as low as 1 mg of any DOA containing amine such as most of illicit drugs as, but not only: AMP, OPI, MTD, Ketamine, Heroin, LSD, MAMP, PCP, COC, Codeine.
